On Saturday 6 November, half way through the COP26 climate talks, climate campaigners round the world are holding a Global Day of Action to demand Climate Justice and an end to fossil fuels
There will be large demonstrations in Glasgow, London and other major cities across the UK and the world.
Closer to home, there will be a rally at Horse Hill, our local fossil fuel site which has permission to expand and produce 3 million tonnes of oil over 20 years. This oil could produce more than 10 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent when it is burned.
Please come!
Join the rally at the junction of Horse Hill with the A217 (opposite the Black Horse pub) at 12.30pm for speakers, music and crafts, then march to the drill site for more talks and and performances at 1.30pm. Hear about the campaign to stop the development going ahead and show your support and solidarity for campaigners locally and around the world.
